After cleansing, apply a small amount of Innersense Hydrating Hair Mask to wet hair, concentrating from the mid-lengths to ends and working it through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Leave on for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and style as usual. Innersense specifically recommends the mask for dry, damaged or coarse hair, making it especially useful for thick, curly and coily textures that need more intensive conditioning than a regular rinse-out conditioner provides. Based on its rich blend of plant oils, shea butter, humectants and protein-derived ingredients, it can be particularly helpful for medium-to-high porosity hair, while fine or low-porosity strands should begin with a smaller amount or use it less frequently if the hair becomes weighed down.
