How to Use + Best For

Spray Innersense I Create Waves evenly through damp or dry hair, concentrating through the mid-lengths and ends, then scrunch to encourage natural waves and texture. Allow the hair to air-dry for an effortless finish or diffuse/blow-dry when additional volume and shape are desired. Innersense recommends I Create Waves for all hair types and textures, but it is especially useful for straight-to-wavy hair that needs extra movement, fine hair that wants more body and grip, or curls that need a quick texture refresh between wash days. The brand does not assign it an official porosity level, so it can be used across low, medium and high porosity hair; however, dry or highly porous hair may benefit from a lightweight moisturizing product underneath so the salt does not leave the hair feeling overly dry. It can also be used on fully dry hair to revive texture and add separation without completely restyling.

Take Khair Tip: For fine or flat hair that needs more body, apply I Create Lift to wet hair first, dry into your desired shape, then mist I Create Waves through the finished style for extra grip, texture and volume—this is a pairing Innersense specifically recommends. For dry, coarse or higher-porosity waves and curls, use a lightweight moisture base such as Serenity Smoothing Cream or Quiet Calm Curl Control first, then layer I Create Waves sparingly through the mid-lengths and ends. If the hair starts feeling dry or rough, add moisture rather than continuing to layer more salt spray.
