Ceramide NG, a lipid naturally related to components of the hair's protective structure, provides additional conditioning support to help reinforce the hair surface and improve the feel of dry or fragile strands. Linseed extract and phytosterols provide additional conditioning, while Vitamin C and Vitamin E contribute antioxidant support to the formula. Conditioning ingredients including Behentrimonium Methosulfate and Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine provide slip and reduce friction, making knots and tangles easier to work through before styling. How to Use + Best For

Apply a generous amount of As I Am Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave-In Conditioner to clean, very wet hair and distribute evenly from roots to ends, then comb or finger-detangle through and do not rinse. Follow with your preferred styler, such as As I Am JBCO Curling Cream or JBCO Smoothie, or use a small amount between wash days to refresh dry curls. It is suitable for all hair types, including Type 2 hair, but is especially useful for curly and coily textures experiencing dryness, tangling, fragility or breakage. Based on its combination of humectants, castor oil and Ceramide NG, it can be particularly beneficial for medium-to-high porosity hair, while fine or low-porosity hair should start with a smaller amount to avoid unnecessary weight. As I Am also confirms it is suitable for colour-treated and chemically relaxed hair.
