The formula features sodium hyaluronate, a form of hyaluronic acid, alongside glycerin, Sodium PCA and panthenol—humectant and conditioning ingredients that help attract and retain moisture for softer, more flexible-feeling hair. Cetearyl alcohol and cetyl alcohol are fatty alcohols that provide emollience and softness, while conditioning agents help improve slip and make detangling easier. Dimethicone and amodimethicone smooth and coat the hair surface, helping reduce friction, improve manageability and create a softer, shinier finish. The formula also contains hydrolyzed pea and vegetable proteins, which provide temporary conditioning and reinforcement to help improve the feel of dry or stressed strands. With a pH range of approximately 4.0–6.0, Ultramoist combines moisture, conditioning and surface smoothing in one nourishing treatment. How to Use + Best For

After shampooing, massage AG Care Ultramoist through clean, damp hair, concentrating on the mid-lengths and ends, and leave on for 1–2 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. For a complete moisture-focused routine, AG Care recommends pairing it with Xtramoist Moisturizing Shampoo. Ultramoist is especially well suited to very dry, coarse, thick, porous or moisture-depleted hair and can be used across straight, wavy, curly and coily textures when additional hydration and softness are needed. Based on its rich conditioning formula, it can be particularly helpful for medium-to-high porosity hair, while fine or low-porosity hair should start with a smaller amount and concentrate application on the driest areas. Because the formula contains hydrolyzed proteins, it can also be useful for hair that responds well to a combination of moisture and protein-based conditioning.
